The Royal Palm is one of the most attractive species in the plant family. It is elegant and will give that smooth tropical look to any garden.

Sowing:  Before sowing, soak the seeds in warm water for up to 3 days changing the water every day. Sow the seeds indoors in a warm, sunny place or in a propagator at no less than 22-25°C temperature. Germination can take between 6 to 10 weeks. Both sow and grow on in equal mixture of compost and perlite as free draining is important both for germination and growing on. When in growth, water moderately and feed with a balanced fertiliser once a month.

Tip: Given the right conditions and care, the Royal Palm will grow pretty quickly.
